Lavant Football Club

Welcome to the Lavant F.C website.

The club was formed in 1910 and has represented the village of Lavant in West Sussex, England each season up to the present day. The football club is and continues to be part of the village's heritage and the Saturday League first team plays all its home games on the picturesque village green.

Lavant Football Club currently has three senior men's teams.  Two teams play Saturday's in the West Sussex Football League and the remaining team plays on Sunday's in the Chichester & West Sussex Sunday Football League.

Starting this season our Centenary Season we will also be running an Lavant Youth Under 18 side in the Arun & Chichester League who will play on Sundays.  Information on the youth team can be found on the News section of the Website.

 

This season will be our Centenary Season which will commemorate our 100th years as a village football team.

We plan to celebrate this at the start of the season by getting some past palyers to don their boot once more and take part in a Legends Game on the afternoon of 29th August, followed by a beer or two up the Earl of March afterwards.

Then at the end of the season we plan a reunion/presentation night at the Village Hall in May 2011 (Provisionally the 21st May)
